Steven Bagatourian co-writer Mr. Bagatourian’s writing career began in earnest when, at the age of 21, he won the 1998 Cinestory Screenwriting Contest. Mr. Bagatourian’s screenplay, Weasel, was selected as the contest’s Grand Prize Winner—out of 2,000 entries. Weasel was subsequently optioned by John Cusack’s New Crime Films, where Mr. Bagatourian worked closely with Cusack and his partners to fashion a shooting draft of the script. In addition to American Gun and Weasel, Mr. Bagatourian has written four other screenplays: Gangsterama, Don’t Fade Away Funny Man, The Perseus Complex, and The Incredible Oliver Drizzle. |
